Highly recommended for years. Especially perfect when it comes to drinking mourning coffee. Lots of parking spaces, conveniently located, the quality of the food is very good. In addition, the service is very friendly and quick. Absolute recommendation.

The restaurant "Zum Scheunentor" is located in a beautifully prepared old farm / manor house. At first sight I expected very high prices, but was pleasantly surprised. In fact, the prices are no higher than anywhere else. The dishes are traditional and always good, but primarily for meat lovers. The owner and the waitresses are always in a good mood and friendly. The lack of vegan or vegetarian alternatives is the only reason why I give it 4 instead of 5 stars. That being said, I can fully recommend this restaurant.

The Scheunentor is a solid Balkan restaurant with the typical meat dishes. The preparation has always been good and the portions plentiful. However, you shouldn't have too special demands. Lovers of a nice grill plate or other meat dishes will get their money's worth here. The price for the dishes is almost cheap for the portions you get. The staff is friendly and attentive and you are well looked after. Only the ambience seems a bit gloomy and old-fashioned, but you can live with that in view of the quality of the food. In summer the beer garden invites you to linger and those who need some exercise can frequent the in-house bowling alley. Two halls also offer space for larger groups.
